Bus companies have warned passengers to expect their journeys to take longer than usual
Predictions that "significant delays" to bus services would be caused because of this weekend's closure of the A52 Derby Road between the Priory roundabout and Queen's Medical Centre appear to be coming true.
The 1.2-mile closure began at 8pm on Friday night and the road will remain closed until 6am on Monday, January 27. According to the details on Nottingham City Council's website, the closure will be in place while construction works are carried out.
