Police in Scotland are investigating the unexplained death of an 18-year-old male student at a university accommodation block near Stirling. Officers were called to Alexander Court on Friday afternoon after reports of a sudden death. While the circumstances are not considered suspicious, a probe has been launched and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Officers rushed to the Alexander Court in Bridge of Allan near Stirling, Scotland at about 2.20pm on Friday after reports a man had suddenly died.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 2.20pm on Friday, February 7 2025, officers were called to the Alexander Court area of Bridge of Allan following the sudden death of an 18-year-old man.

'The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. Police have launched a probe after an 18-year-old male teenager suddenly died at a student accommodation block at the University of Stirling in ScotlandA University of Stirling spokesperson said: 'Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with family and friends at this difficult time.

'The University is liaising with the police and ensuring that students and staff are fully supported.'
