This was the moment a thug was caught on camera attempting to throw drugs and phones into HMP Forest Bank.
Tierney, of Wythenshawe, later became involved in the burglary of a house alongside another man, Cameron Robinson. Both had awoken a mum by loudly entering her home, before she confronted them and pleaded with them about her sleeping baby upstairs.Jane Dagnall, prosecutor, told Manchester Crown Court that police were focussing on those who attempt to bring in or ‘throw over’ items into HMP Forest Bank, as part of Operation Dragonfire.
His phone was later analysed, and Tierney was found to be involved in the supply chain of items into prison. “She recognised Cameron Robinson as someone she had known for several years and felt shocked and terrified.” In a statement, the woman said the incident had ‘knocked her sick’. “The children were upstairs in a place that is supposed to be safe and secure,” Ms Dagnall summarised.
