The UK could soon be completely covered in snow as a 'Beast from the East' approaches - but one region is expected to miss out
New weather modelling maps have revealed a shocking prediction that the UK could soon be entirely blanketed in snow as a 'Beast from the East' weather system looms. The ECMWF weather model maps trace a colossal blizzard traversing Europe from the east on February 10, making its first appearance in East Anglia around noon.
In areas where the snowfall is most intense further north, the data suggests it could be falling at a rate of around 3cm per hour. Northern Scotland won't escape either, with snow anticipated there later on February 10 and into the early hours of February 11.
