Community groups in West Belfast have issued an urgent alert after a 13-year-old girl was seriously assaulted on Wednesday night. The assault took place in the Lenadoon area, prompting calls for increased vigilance and security measures.
In a joint statement, local groups in West Belfast say a 13-year-old girl was seriously assaulted in the Lenadoon area on Wednesday night. Glen Community Parent Youth Group and Lenadoon Women's Group are urging local parents and young people in the Glenveagh/Suffolk Road and Greater Lenadoon area to be vigilant after the incident.
"Lenadoon Community Forum and Suffolk Road Residents Network are demanding an urgent meeting between themselves and the Housing Executive to have this derelict property adequately secured to prevent further assaults.
