Vernon Kay revealed that there was 'lots of emotion flying around' as Zoe Ball marked her final day on BBC Radio 2, having announced her departure back in November
Vernon Kay spoke about his "last day" on BBC Radio 2 before Christmas and admitted there was "lots of emotion" in the wake of Zoe Ball's exit from the show.
Vernon found the message touching and even asked somebody to "pass the tissues" live on air. The former Family Fortunes star welcomed Nanny Gwyneth onto the show today for a chat. Nanny Gwyneth then wished Zoe her best wishes, with Vernon revealing that his former Radio 2 colleague would have likely heard her kind message because she was in the corridor at the time.
