Nathan Macqueen's incredible recent form saw him named double European champ - and secure top spot in the world rankings for the first time in his career.
Addiewell archery ace Nathan Macqueen is on top of the world after securing double European gold – and the world number one spot.
It comes just weeks after picking up a silver medal at the World Para Archery Championship, losing to Mateo Bonacini in the final, but his strong showing in the Netherlands saw him climb above the Italian in the world rankings. “I only competed in one event and my world ranking dropped to 42nd so I’ve actually gone from there to first in just eight months.”
