The Red Arrows will be flying over Greater Manchester this weekend after closing out the much-loved Southport Air Show.
The Red Arrows will be one of the most anticipated displays of the weekend, and while the sequence changes every year, it typically includes a variety of synchronised aerobatics.While The Red Arrows will appear on both days of the Southport Air Show, it's only on Sunday that they will be visible over Greater Manchester. It is understood their journey from Southport back to Lincolnshire will take roughly half an hour.
The Red Arrows are scheduled to leave Liverpool at 7.20pm, passing over Knowsley first. Between 7.23pm and 7.27pm, the Red Arrows will fly from Appley Bridge in West Lancashire to Littleborough in Rochdale, passing over Standish, Wigan Golf Course, Horwich, Eagley, Greenbooth Reservoir and Birch Hill Hospital as they go.The route and timings could be subject to change depending on weather conditions on the day.
