Woman killed after falling into a giant meat grinder at US factory
A WOMAN died after she fell headfirst into a giant meat grinder while working at a US factory.
Jill Greninger was operating the machine at Economy Locker Storage Company in Pennsylvania when the horror accident happened on Monday.The 35-year-old had been standing on a set of stairs on wheels before the accident, according to coroner Charles Kiessling.Kiessling told the Williamsport Sun-Gazette that no one witnessed the accident and it's unclear if the woman was "reaching for something in the grinder, which was about six feet off the ground".: “This is just a tragedy.
“Everyone is shaken and thinks that this is a tragedy that something like this had to happen to such a young lady."
