Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Jon Bramnick, a New Jersey State Senator, have expressed concerns over the recent sightings of unidentified drones over sensitive US locations. McCaul believes the drones are Chinese spy drones, while Bramnick argues the government is withholding information out of fear of public reaction.

The first sightings were reported on November 18 in New Jersey, with drones seen near sensitive locations such as PicatinnyIn New York, drones grounded flights at Stewart Airfield and in Brooklyn on Friday after being spotted over the Bronx days earlier
