Major roadworks near the Queen's Medical Centre hospital in Nottingham will see the busy A52 roundabout closed for a full weekend starting Friday, February 7th. The closure is for the installation of a new bridge beam and follows previous closures on the A6514 Middleton Boulevard underneath the roundabout. National Highways has announced a series of diversions to help manage traffic congestion.
A busy A52 roundabout leading to the Queen's Medical Centre hospital is due to be closed again next weekend. Major roadworks in the area are set to continue with a full weekend closure taking place from 8pm on Friday, February 7 to 6am on Monday, February 10.
Traffic was diverted up and over the roundabout using the slip roads. National Highways last closed the Queen’s Medical Centre roundabout for bridge repairs on the weekend of January 25 and 26.
