Everton manager Sean Dyche looks like he could have a major headache in the right-back berth for his side’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur. It follows Ashley Young ’s sending off in the 3-0 home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
The return of Jarrad Branthwaite the breakthrough star of last season, remains eagerly anticipated with the England international centre-back not having kicked a ball for Everton this summer. If fit, Branthwaite could return, while new signing Jake O’Brien could also come into the side with question marks over Michael Keane , who partnered James Tarkowski at centre-back against Brighton. Given their aforementioned right-back issues, the Blues might also opt to go with a three-at-the-back system.
