Residents without or limited internet access can qualify for a free SIM card through a new initiative. The program aims to help those who struggle to afford their existing monthly contract or top-up. Data drop-in sessions will be held at various libraries and leisure centers throughout November.
Residents over the age of 18 who have either no or poor access to the internet at home or when out and about and struggle to afford their existing monthly contract or top-up can qualify for the initiative, which started earlier this year.
“We’re delighted that our partnership with the Good Things Foundation is helping those who may be digitally excluded to stay connected, removing barriers that stop participation in normal life.
