People have been urged to plan ahead

A warning has been issued to people planning on visiting one Merseyside beach. Sefton Council posted a statement on its social media pages on Sunday, July 28 which warned people about parking at Ainsdale beach. It said due to a technical issue, card payments may not be able to be taken at the Ainsdale Beach car park and to ensure people are able to park and pay, to bring cash. It added: 'We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Monday and Tuesday, July 29 and 30, are then likely to feel almost as warm, with highs of 24C and lows of 15-16C, though with some partly cloudy spells. Wednesday, July 31, will then turn a little warmer, with expected highs of 25C, and Thursday and Friday are expected to be around 22-23C at their warmest points, with largely dry and sunny conditions, though again with some cloud too. However, Saturday August 3, will see the temperature dip slightly, and with a 40% chance of rain.
