After a chilly start to autumn with widespread frost and a low of minus 2.7C in North Yorkshire on Thursday evening, the UK is set for a warm-up starting this weekend. The South East is seeing temperatures of 19C or 20C this afternoon.
Temperatures on Saturday night are expected to dip into the low single figures, around three or four degrees, particularly in southern regions. Sunday promises some light rain but also "plenty of sunny weather" up north, according to Mr Petagna, reports the Mirror.
